Uprising High School is the youth movement of grade 9-12 students at Riverwood Church. We are all about calling this generation to reach beyond the average and to live their lives knowing that they are loved by God, they have a place they belong, and they have purpose. We are radically inclusive and passionate about creating a place where students belong no matter their past, present, or future. As a community, we will worship together, learn, serve, and live the life of adventure that God invites us to.

The gospel isn’t just good advice, it’s good news! In this series, we’re learning how to confidently communicate the message of Jesus: why we need Him, what He’s done for us, and how our own stories can help others find hope. With the power of the Holy Spirit, every student can become a bold messenger of God’s love and truth.

RADICAL DISCIPLESHIP GROUP
Uprising’s Radical Discipleship Group (RDG for short!) is an opportunity to dig deeper into what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and practically live that out within the church and Uprising! Twice a month RDG will meet to explore the ways of Jesus and work to plan and execute various Uprising events including the Youth Takeover Service and Uprising worship nights.
