Uprising High School is the youth movement of grade 9-12 students at Riverwood Church. We are all about calling this generation to reach beyond the average and to live their lives knowing that they are loved by God, they have a place they belong, and they have purpose. We are radically inclusive and passionate about creating a place where students belong no matter their past, present, or future. As a community, we will worship together, learn, serve, and live the life of adventure that God invites us to.

SERIES: SURRENDER
We live in a world that tells us to take control, chase our dreams, and do whatever makes us feel good. But Jesus invites us into something deeper, and also something harder. In this series, we’re exploring what it means to truly surrender our lives to Jesus and find greater purpose and identity in the process.

UPRISING CAMP
Join us for three unforgettable days at Camp Cedarwood that will be packed with adventure, excitement, crazy games and activities, squad wars where we will compete for the Chalice of Champions, praise parties, lots of food, time to hang out and relax, and more!

RADICAL DISCIPLESHIP GROUP
Uprising’s Radical Discipleship Group (RDG for short!) is an opportunity to dig deeper into what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and practically live that out within the church and Uprising! Twice a month RDG will meet to explore the ways of Jesus and work to plan and execute various Uprising events including the Youth Takeover Service and Uprising worship nights.
