Uprising High School is the youth movement of grade 9-12 students at Riverwood Church. We are all about calling this generation to reach beyond the average and to live their lives knowing that they are loved by God, they have a place they belong, and they have purpose. We are radically inclusive and passionate about creating a place where students belong no matter their past, present, or future. As a community, we will worship together, learn, serve, and live the life of adventure that God invites us to.

MARCH 20 - APRIL 24
OUR IMPERFECT FAMILY
No family is perfect. They can be messy, complicated, and even painful. In this series, Our Imperfect Family, we’ll take an honest look at God’s design for family and how to navigate the ups and downs of family life. Whether students are in a strong home, a struggling one, or somewhere in between, we want them to know that God sees them and their family and He’s in the business of bringing hope and healing to broken places.

MOVIE NIGHT
This Friday get ready for our annual movie night! There will be two movie options, How to Train Your Dragon (original animated version) or Cars. Show up in your comfiest clothes and we'll have the snacks!

GIRLS NIGHT / GUYS NIGHT
Girls Night - The girls will be cruising around the city in a car rally challenge! Join us for a night of adventure, fun, snacks and friends! Get all the details and fill out the waiver here.

Guys Night - The guys will be having a gym night at MBCI gym and staying overnight! Get all the details and fill out the waiver here.
RADICAL DISCIPLESHIP GROUP
Uprising’s Radical Discipleship Group (RDG for short!) is an opportunity to dig deeper into what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and practically live that out within the church and Uprising! Twice a month RDG will meet to explore the ways of Jesus and work to plan and execute various Uprising events including the Youth Takeover Service and Uprising worship nights.
