RIVERWOOD CHURCH COMMUNITY - Summer Staff
Must be between 15 and 29 years of age.
NEIGHBOURHOOD PROGRAM
SUMMER STAFF
30 hrs / Week
Supports the planning and delivery of summer programs, including outings, food bank operations, drop-in lunches, and community outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate is outgoing, hardworking, and able to engage effectively with community members of all ages. Experience working in a kitchen is considered an asset.
MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH WORKER
15 hrs / Week
Provides opportunities for middle school students in the community to take part in weekly activities/programs to build relationship with mentors, engage in leadership development, and be encouraged to increase mental/physical wellness.
RIVERWOOD KIDS
SUMMER STAFF
30 hrs / Week
Assists with the planning, preparation and execution for both weekend programming and special summer activities during the week.
HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH WORKER
15 hrs / Week
Provides opportunities for high school students in the community to take part in weekly activities/programs to build relationship with mentors, engage in leadership development, and be encouraged to increase mental/physical wellness.

CUSTODIAN - WAREHOUSE

22 hrs / Week
Riverwood’s custodians help create clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for services, programs, and events. This role includes general cleaning, basic setup and teardown, and preparing our facilities for weekly and special use. They take pride in making sure every space is ready and welcoming for all who walk through our doors.

NAVIGATOR

Full Time, 15 Month Term
The Riverwood House Navigator will facilitate the supportive services at Riverwood House to guide participants through their ongoing recovery and work towards transitioning to independent and meaningful living in the community. In other contexts, this role might be referred to as a Case Manager and is ideal for someone with a social services background.
