JANUARY AT RIVERWOOD
At Riverwood, we are committed to helping couples build strong, healthy, and lasting marriages. One of the best ways we do this is by offering engaged or seriously dating couples the opportunity to develop essential skills and relational tools for a thriving marriage. We’d love for you to join us for this year’s premarital course!
Dates & Times:
Sunday, March 8 - 5:00-8:00 pm
Sunday, March 15 - 5:00 - 8:00 pm
Sunday, March 22 - 5:00 - 8:00 pm
Sunday March 29 - 5:00 - 8:00 pm
WHAT TO EXPECT
4 Group Sessions
Each session will feature a small group setting where you’ll sit with another engaged couple and one Mentor Couple.
1 Private Session
A personalized session with the Mentor Couple, you have gotten to know over the 4 weeks.
Teaching on Key Topics
Sessions will cover essential topics including Expectations, Communication, Conflict Resolution, Finances, In-Laws, Intimacy, and Love Languages.
Real-Life Stories & Examples
The Mentor Couples will share personal stories and insights about marriage.
Group Discussions & Couple Conversations
Enjoy group discussions at your table, as well as private conversations with your fiancé(e).
Dinner
A meal will be served during each session to encourage connection and conversation.
COST
$80 per couple for meals & drinks served during the course

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Drop In
We are in need of volunteers for our Drop in on Thursdays between 10:30am-1:30pm. This role includes greeting and serving guests, visiting and general clean up.
Childcare
On May 1st we launched our Women in Recovery support group and we continue to meet on Monday evenings. One of the biggest barriers to seeking support is a lack of childcare. We are looking for 5 individuals who love children and would like to serve in this capacity.

HOSPITALITY TEAM
We would love to have you join our hospitality team. We have openings/ needs (at the Factory and the Warehouse) in the following areas: Coffee Prep, Safety, Ushers, Welcome Centre and Greeters. Come and join a serving team, meet new people and be a blessing to the people of Riverwood.

ONE-ON-ONE MENTORSHIP
We have some openings for people who might like to be mentored for a time. This could be to come alongside you during a rough time or to help you in your faith walk. If you are interested in filling out an application please CLICK HERE
