UKRAINE REFUGEE RELIEF INITIATIVE
The conflict and humanitarian crisis occurring in Ukraine is unlike anything most of us have ever seen in our life-time! A super-power ignoring international laws to take over and swallow-up another country is shocking enough, but then when we see the every-day Ukrainian citizens taking up arms and trying to defend their country, it is heart-breaking! Add to this the refugee-crisis that is developing, and it’s overwhelming.
However, Riverwood has a missionary family stationed just over 200 km from the Ukaranian-Romanian border.
Jerry and Chrissie Baker lead a small Bible college in Romania. They have already taken in over 40 refugees fleeing the conflict and are anticipating the need to house and care for more!
If you are looking for a practical way to help the people of Ukraine, one option is to support the relief work Jerry & Chrissie are doing!
All funds raised will go directly to support war-affected Ukrainians in Romania, at the border or who are still in Ukraine.
