PROTECTION POLICY

This Youth Protection Policy has been designed to provide the greatest safety possible for the students and leaders that are a part of Uprising's programming.

Each leader is required to read the highlighted parts of the document below prior to serving. Once they have read it they must sign a form  to confirm they have read and understood it. 

CODE OF CONDUCT

Those who choose to lead, teach and serve as a Riverwood Volunteer affirm their commitment to honour this Code of Conduct. 

If there is anything in their life that does not follow this the volunteer is required to let the ministry director know. This conversation will be met with an abundance of grace and support as we work to move forward together.

COVID-19 RESPONSE

As leaders, it is our job to lead the way in protecting our students from any risk of Covid-19. All leaders are required to follow Riverwood's strategies to keeping everyone safe and healthy and are asked to do so with a positive attitude. As we understand that our students will take their cue from us, we dedicate ourselves to following these rules to the best of our ability while positively promoting them to our students.
